We, the law firm GRILC VOUK RANC ZENZ, Karfreitstraße 14/III, 9020 Klagenfurt/Celovec, collect, process, and use your personal data only with your consent or mandate or order for the purposes agreed with you or if there is another legal basis in accordance with the GDPR; this in compliance with data protection and civil law regulations.
Only such personal data are collected that are necessary for the execution and handling of our legal services or that you have voluntarily provided to us.
Personal data are all data that contain individual information about personal or factual circumstances, such as name, address, email address, phone number, date of birth, age, gender, social security number, video recordings, photos, voice recordings of persons, as well as biometric data such as fingerprints. Sensitive data, such as health data or data related to criminal proceedings, can also be included.
2. Information and Deletion
As a client or generally as an affected person, you have the right to information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipients, and the purpose of data processing at any time, as well as the right to correction, data portability, objection, restriction of processing, and blocking or deletion of incorrect or unlawfully processed data, while maintaining the attorney-client confidentiality.
If there are any changes to your personal data, please inform us accordingly.
You have the right to revoke consent to the use of your personal data at any time. Your request for information, deletion, correction, objection, and/or data transfer, in the latter case, provided it does not cause a disproportionate effort, can be directed to the address of the law firm mentioned in point 10 of this statement.
If you believe that the processing of your personal data by us violates applicable data protection law or your data protection rights have been violated in any way, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, the competent authority is the Data Protection Authority.
3. Data Security
The protection of your personal data is ensured through appropriate organizational and technical precautions. These measures particularly protect against unauthorized, unlawful, or even accidental access, processing, loss, use, and manipulation.
Despite efforts to maintain a consistently high level of diligence, it cannot be excluded that information you provide over the internet may be viewed and used by others.
Please note that we do not accept any liability for the disclosure of information due to errors not caused by us in data transmission and/or unauthorized access by third parties (e.g., hacking of email accounts or telephone, interception of faxes).
4. Use of Data
We will not process the data provided to us for purposes other than those covered by the mandate agreement, your consent, or otherwise by a provision in accordance with the GDPR. An exception is the use for statistical purposes, provided the data made available have been anonymized.
5. Transfer of Data to Third Parties
To fulfill your order, it may also be necessary to forward your data to third parties (e.g., opposing parties, substitutes, insurance companies, service providers, courts, or authorities) to whom we provide data. Your data will only be forwarded based on the GDPR, particularly to fulfill your order or based on your prior consent.
We also inform you that in the course of our legal representation and support, factual and case-related information is regularly obtained from third parties.
Some of the above-mentioned recipients of your personal data are located outside your country or process your personal data there. The data protection level in other countries may not correspond to that of Austria. We only transfer your personal data to countries where the EU Commission has decided that they have an adequate level of data protection or we take measures to ensure that all recipients have an adequate level of data protection, for which we conclude standard contractual clauses (2010/87/EC and/or 2004/915/EC).

We strive to ensure that data breaches are detected early and, if necessary, reported to you or the competent supervisory authority without delay, including the respective data categories that are affected.

We will not retain data longer than necessary to fulfill our contractual or legal obligations and to defend against potential liability claims.
